ATLANTA – October 28, 2013 – Today, Operation HOPE, the leading global financial dignity nonprofit, announced that the Executive Director for the President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness at the White House Don Graves will give remarks during the opening reception and lead a White House Special Field Meeting at the HOPE Global Financial Dignity Summit (Summit) in Atlanta, November 13 and 14. Graves will speak on Wednesday, November 13, the first day of the summit. This is the second consecutive year that Graves has provided pre-summit remarks.
In partnership with the City of Atlanta, the two-day summit, Global Economic Recovery: How The Poor Can Help Save Capitalism, will be moderated by Soledad O’Brien and frame the issue of financial inclusion, small business, entrepreneurship, jobs, and financial dignity as essential core ingredients to mid and long-term economic recovery and stability. It is expected to draw 1,000 of the most dynamic and influential financial industry professionals, government decision-makers and faith leaders from more than 50 countries around the world.
