Chairman Bryant appeared on CNBC’s Squawk Box to discuss the corporate tax plans of 2024 presidential candidates Joe Biden and Donald Trump. President Joe Biden wants to raise the corporate tax rate to 28%, and former President Donald Trump wants to lower it to 20%.

In a conversation with Mick Mulvaney, Actum Strategic Advisors co-chair and former White House chief of staff, Chairman Bryant shared his belief that each candidate should present an articulate plan that explains their increase or decrease in the corproate tax rate. Regardless of the particulars, which likely mostly fall on party lines, Chairman Bryant emphasized the need for the nation to make investments in the economy through infrastructure improvements and empowering the American worker with opportunity and skills training.
