This week we unveiled our 214th HOPE Inside location just outside of Atlanta in DeKalb County, in partnership with Citizen Trust Bank, the largest black bank in the Atlanta area. we currently have 230 locations open and operating nationwide (we soft opened this branch a few months ago and already have results to report), in 46 states.
The launch was fantastic, and I was honored to join amongst others, my friend Cynthia Day, CEO of Citizens Trust Bank — a black bank which now sits at 800M+ in assets. And what most people don’t know is that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s father – Daddy King – served on the board of directors of CTB for 40 years.
It is a bank steeped in civil rights history, and now we believe that they will be a powerful part of silver rights history also.
