Davos 2023 was one for the record books.

It was an honor to join with other major global leaders and influencers of industry, commerce, and change in an ongoing discussion on our world, its economies, and the people they affect at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The powerful, outsized, increasingly transformational work of Operation HOPE was at the forefront of many of my discussions, and I and others in the U.S. delegation engaged key CEOs and global leaders about the work and mission of Financial Literacy for All.

I had a chance to lead a substantive discussion with my friend and Financial Literacy for All co-chair, Doug McMillon, CEO of Walmart, and our host Dow Jones CEO Almar Latour (they own Wall Street Journal) around Financial Literacy being ‘embedded’ into business infrastructure. We impressed upon them the urgency of this issue, and strongly believe that financial literacy is the civil rights issue of our generation in the U.S., and around the world.

We are advancing the Silver Rights Movement globally, and the vision of a Third Reconstruction in America — a new era of and for Opportunity for All. Please remember, when you have a chance to show up, and to be a vessel that represents OTHERS, who are not in the room — don’t miss it. Love is work. It’s time for us all, to lean in and to do ‘the work’ that real progress requires.

 Let’s go…
