In the 23 years since Columbine, 10 years since Sandy Hook, and four years since Parkland, our federal government has done almost nothing to prevent this type of tragedy from happening over and over… and over again. It is a uniquely American problem.
This doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world. And it has to stop.
Only in America does every parent have to teach their children what an “active shooter drill” is. Only in America will thousands of children and parents live forever with the trauma that a person with a gunshot up their school, or their church, or their supermarket, or on the subway, or when they were simply living life.
Knock it off.
