It is rate that you meet someone you admire, and they do nothing but confirm what you thought you knew to begin with — or better. And that is precisely what I feel about my mentor Ambassador Andrew J. Young, and also how I feel now about my friend Bishop T.D. Jakes. He’s the real thing, through and through, and for that and other reasons I was thrilled to confirm my participation in his International Leadership Summit (ILS) 2022, held recently in Charlotte, NC.

I also was excited to join technology leader Chris Lyons from Andreessen Horowitz for a powerful conversation on one of the most important topics of this generation — the pursuit of and the need for Black Economic Power. At Operation HOPE we call this the Silver Rights Movement.

Follow Mr. Jakes and Chris, and me. The best is yet to come.
