Recently I was thrilled to get on track, as both driver and passenger, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for a half dozen laps in a Honda power plant equipped IndyCar.
The IndyCar that I drove is a single seater former race car that participated and competed in the Indianapolis 500, and featured a slightly destined Honda race engine. I could feel the G-forces pulling on my body as we banked the corners of the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway track.
After driving laps on my own, I was strapped in as the second man in a unique, one of a kind, two-seater IndyCar designed for Indy Racing Experience with Dallara Automobili. I could feel a full 3 G-Force pull on my body on the banking corners in this IndyCar piloted by a pro IndyCar series driver at approximately 180 MPH.
Needless to say, it was a great experience and yes, I was smiling the entire time, on the inside of my race helmet.
Something that everyone able should do at least once in their lives.
