Celebrate Rwanda Day 2014 with The Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda & Operation HOPE in Atlanta

September, 2014

The Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda in Washington, D.C. in collaboration with the Rwandan Community in the United States and Operation HOPE would like to invite you to Rwanda Day 2014 scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Georgia on September 20th, 2014.

As Rwanda marks twenty years of liberation, Rwanda Day 2014 will bring together Rwandans and Friends of  Rwanda to celebrate the two decades of nation building and to reflect on choices that have spurred and sustained the country’s progress.

Under the theme Agaciro-Our Choice, the event will feature His Excellency President Paul Kagame as the guest of honor along with high-level delegates, prominent civil rights leaders, American and Rwandan businesspersons, artists and youth. The guests will exchange on various topics ranging from shared economic opportunities to shared universal values of dignity and equality. The event will be concluded by Umuganura a traditional celebration of Rwanda’s achievements and its shared vision for a more cohesive, peaceful and prosperous future.

As our honored guest, I am hopeful that your schedule would permit you to join us. I look forward to welcoming you to Rwanda Day 2014.
