This weekend I spoke at the Detroit Economic Empowerment Summit hosted by Dr. Bill Winston, and while I was inspired by what was organized,  it was my driver this weekend that might have inspired me most.

Most people only see a driver. Sometimes, a faceless, voiceless, imageless driver.  What I see is the engine of Detroit's resurgence.

His name is Calvin Stephens, Jr. and he has seven automobiles and just as many drivers on call who work for him. He serves a dozen houses of faith in the city and others, and this business allows him to take care of his responsibilities, take care of his family, pay his taxes, and generally contributes to the success of both city and economy.  But small business owners like this get little credit for their contribution, except in my new book.

Take a look at the new bestselling book, and look up Affordable Limousine Service the next time you are in Detroit and need a car service.
