…Sadly so many blacks require very little substance, just a little style and "outreach" gets what you want out of them. So black folks who recognize that outreach is just the warm up act and afterglow of substance really confuses folks. Other groups attend the parties too, but they also get their business done. Too many black folks see the parties as their business.
Comments and an out take from a conversation I had recently with a proud, intelligent, and substantive new era Black leader with whom I highly respect. No doubt in years to come, you will be hearing more from him. I do not note his name directly here, only because of the sensitive public position of influence he holds today. In time… (smile)
