Dsc_1005_3My brother, from another mother… That is how I refer to my friend Andrew Young, III, or as his friends call him, Bo Young.

Well, on the heels of A Day of HOPE with Andrew Young, and a national call "from civil rights to silver rights," in this country, held at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, I am now proud to announce that Bo Young has agreed to lend his time, talent, passion, credibility and leadership as the new co-chairman of the Southeastern Regional Board for Operation HOPE, along with current co-chair Laura Sherman.

Bo Young is much more than the son of Ambassador Andrew Young and the late Jean Childs Young, and the heir apparent of his father. Bo Young is an accomplished businessman in his own right, having grown up at the feet of the civil rights movement and its leaders, worked in corporate America himself, and now as chairman and chief executive officer of his own growing small business, Young Solutions, Bo Young is a man on the move. A leader of our time, and a critical spokesman and a key player of the silver rights movement of the 21st century.  Bo Young also serves on the board of the Drum Major Institute, a centrist think tank in New York City, for which his father serves as chairman.

Honored to have you Bo Young. Honored for you to lead.

Onward, with HOPE
