Many Blacks Worse off Than Their Parents, Study Says

Check out this story from the Washington Post from last week, which unmistakably, and unfortunately, makes the case for the massive need of financial literacy education in the lives of middle class African-Americans in the U.S., as the net worth of middle class blacks has fallen backwards, from one generation to another. Sad, but true. Check it out, and let me know what you think.

After you read it, take action to change this, by logging onto to Operation HOPE and becoming a "silver rights soldier" and a HOPE Corps volunteer, teaching financial literacy and becoming a role model in a young person’s life too. One person can make a difference, and that one person is you.

Onward with HOPE
