Personal Note from John Hope Bryant
My history and background with Truist, and its leadership, is deeply personal to me. I remember my early meetings with Bill Rogers, the company CEO, where he was the first large bank to agree to support the model in 1-3 of their area bank branches. That worked, and so Bill decided he would expand the partnership. And he and they did.
The new Truist Bank made a transformational commitment to Operation HOPE: $20 million in overall support, but equally important, they would embed the HOPE Inside model into approximately half of their bank branches nationwide, allowing us to impact clients — and those from underserved populations that wish to be — in approximately 1,000 of their bank branches nationwide.
One of those future HOPE Inside locations, will include the below unique commitment from a bank. Please read, with pride. I did. Thank you Truist, Bill Rogers, CEO, Dontá Wilson, Chief Retail and Small Business Banking Officer, and the entire Truist leadership team there.
