I am deeply honored to have received a Proclamation from the Atlanta City Council for my and Operation HOPE’s work. The council also declared April 15th as John Hope Bryant Day in Atlanta. Thank you to City Council President Felicia A. Moore, Councilman Michael Julian Bond, and everyone who signed the proclamation.

Following the recognition at City Hall, I visited the State Capitol where I met with Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. He presented me with another distinct honor, the Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award. Afterward, I met with Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan.

Members of the Operation HOPE team were on hand for the day’s events, along with supporters from Just Brothers, and leaders including Fulton County Commissioner Natalie Hall. Thank you to everyone for your continued support and for embracing our work with the Silver Rights Movement.

Let’s keep pushing forward…
