Welcome to Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2018 Power 100 annual special report naming Atlanta’s 100 most influential people of 2018, as selected by the Chronicle’s editors.

You will find many familiar names on this year’s list, but also plenty of new faces. They include of course Atlanta’s new mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms. There’s BJay Pak, who in September 2017 was appointed the U.S. Attorney in Atlanta. There’s also Darren Eales, who’s led Atlanta United FC’s phenomenal debut. And there’s Sally Yates, the former U.S. Deputy Attorney General who became a national political figure in the past year after a dust-up with President Donald Trump

Other new faces are Jeffrey Parker, the new CEO and general manager of MARTA; Brian McGowan, the new president and CEO of Atlanta Beltline; and Robert Redfield, the new director of the Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
