More than 3200 Delegates registered for the 2016 HOPE Global Forum Annual Meeting of Operation HOPE in Atlanta, Georgia.  They came from more than 30 countries and all continents, and included 20 U.S. federal government agencies, and 11 U.S. Cabinet and Sub-Cabinet Members as principal speakers.

Both MSNBC and Univision broadcast from onsite throughout the Annual Meeting, both live streaming and broadcasting live and pre-taped interviews with Delegates and speakers.

The Annual Meeting opened with a captivating conversation moderated by Lisa Border, Chair of the Coca-Cola Foundation, and led by Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Ben Jealous, former CEO of the NAACP and Principal of Kapor Capital, Van Jones of CNN and myself

After three solid days of deliberations and passionate engagement by all involved, I was asked to give the Closing Remarks for the Annual Meeting.  I have been asked countless times for a video copy of these remarks, and so — here it is.

Blessings, and thanks again — for believing.  The Silver Rights Movement is real.

Let’s go…
