October, 2014

LOS ANGELES -- October 27, 2014 --  In 2010, Operation HOPE Founder John Hope Bryant was recognized as a Hidden Hero by The Andrew Goodman Foundation (AGF) for empowering more than 1.2 individuals, families and communities to understand the financial system. Since then Operation HOPE has joined the AGF in a mission to elevate the importance of social justice and nurture new hero citizenry.

On November 17, 2014 at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, The AGF will gather social change agents for an inspirational event honoring community heroes, media catalysts and life-long humanitarians.

The Awards Ceremony begins at 8pm and a VIP reception precedes the show at 6pm within the same venue. Highlights include: distinguished special guests, an intergenerational panel between Freedom Summer activists and millennial social justice leaders, and performances by the Abyssinian Baptist Church Choir.
