In his book “How the Poor Can Save Capitalism,” John Hope Bryant, financial literacy expert and poverty eradication activist, describes how the only way to get rid of poverty is to change its definition and alter people’s perception of what being poor really means.

 

The 48-year-old chairman and CEO of the nonprofit organization, Operation HOPE, says in a YouTube video, that there is a big difference between being broke and being poor. He adds that being broke is economic, whilst being poor is a disabling frame of mind and a depressed condition of your spirit. He continues that you must get rid of this impression and vow never to be poor again.
