I was pleased and honored to join Jena Roscoe, who leads government relations and public policy for Operation HOPE,  along with my new friend and colleague Ms. Elizabeth Ortiz, Deputy Director, Consumer and Community Affairs, FDIC, for the signing of a new national agreement.

This new agreement between Operation HOPE and the FDIC, centered around MoneySmart and our financial literacy empowerment work,  is very important to the next chapter of our work on the ground, in communities we care passionately about.

A formal press release will go into greater detail, but the agreement and our joint engagement seeks to advance financial inclusion throughout the whole of America.

The new agreement serves as a powerful baseline around and for Project 5117, which Operation HOPE is now rolling out in underserved communities nationwide.

A special thank you to Ms. Elizabeth Ortiz, Luke Reynolds and others from the FDIC for their leadership there.

Let's go…
