Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City President and CEO to join Operation HOPE in Atlanta on November 13-14

ATLANTA – September 12, 2013 –  Operation HOPE (HOPE) announced today that Esther L. George, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, will participate as an Honorary Co-Chair and principal speaker at the second annual HOPE Global Financial Dignity Summit in Atlanta on November 13-14, 2013. She is the second chief executive from the Federal Reserve System to join the Summit; Dennis Lockhart, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta announced his participation in August

George will join several other dignitaries as event co-chairs, including: 

·         Kasim Reed, Mayor, Atlanta, Georgia

·         Tim Pawlenty, president and CEO, Financial Services Roundtable

·         Ambassador Andrew Young, Civil rights icon and HOPE Global Spokesman

·         Sean Cleary, founder and executive vice chair, FutureWorld Foundation
