This is one of our HOPE Fellows, Ms.Ongelique Sherman, whom I met today at a meeting with all of our Atlanta local HOPE Fellows and HOPE Interns (HOPE FILE Program).

Ongelique is a particular inspiration, as a 20-year old entrepreneur and the designer and creator of ONGIEMARIES products.  When Ongelique was nine, she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer.  She started attending Camp Sunshine, a camp for kids with cancer or recovering from cancer.  One of the activities was purse making and this was the beginning of the creation of ONGIEMARIES.  Ongelique created a purse and carried it to school.  When people fell in love with it, she started creating purses for her peers, which eventually grew into what is known as ONGIEMARIES today.

And check out my vision for HOPE Business In A Box here.

Let's go, change ouor world. One amazing young person at a time.
