Operation HOPE Atlanta is pleased to announce its First Annual “Atlanta Financial Literacy Day” in conjunction with City Councilman Kwanza Hall and Miss Black Georgia 2011, Shawnnell Brown, to be held today, May 12th.  This day is sure to deliver much needed exposure to youth in EVERY school in Councilman Hall's District.

John Hope-Hill Elementary, Intown Academy and Centennial Place Elementary are all schools that will be touched by the magic of this day.

SunTrust, INVESCO, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, East West Bank, AT&T, R.E.A.L. Men Read, Atlanta Urban League Young Professionals and 100 Black Men of Atlanta -100 Stars are all partners that will have a hand in lending their time, talent and treasure to teach students about the "Language of Money."  
 
Founder, Chairman and CEO of Operation HOPE, John Hope Bryant will be joined by SunTrust Division President Jenner Wood and Councilman Kwanza Hall to open assemblies at select sites where students will also be treated to a special performance by Award-Winning Recording Artist & Songwriter Sam Collier.
 
What a way to combine forces to ensure that … “Each one Teach one” – WONDERFUL!
