Empowering all Americans with the financial knowledge and skills they need to build more secure financial futures requires cooperation and collaboration between and among the non-profit, government, and private sectors.  Many organizations and many companies in the NYSE community, particularly the financial services sector, are doing great and innovative work in this field.  This Forum will highlight unique collaborations that have had impact and focus on factors for effective collaboration.  The group will then engage in substantive conversations about areas in need of future collaboration and collaborative models to promote innovation in solving challenging problems in financial capability.

Operation HOPE will be featured on the following panel entitled Community Financial Empowerment: Companies Making a Difference, moderated by Pat Seaman, Director of Marketing and Communications, and panelist include John Hope Bryant, Founder and CEO, Operation HOPE, Jason Milton, Senior Consultant with Gallup, Daria Sheehan, Senior Program Officer, Citi Foundation, and Jason Alderman, Director of Financial Education, Visa.

A special kudos to our friend Michelle Greene, formerly of the U.S. Treasury Department, Office of Financial Education, who now leads global financial literacy for NYSE Euronext.
