I was pleased to represent the Operation HOPE family recently at a board meeting for the CoreLogic Foundation (formerly First American Corporation) in Santa Ana, California, to discuss our long-standing partnership in support of Project Restore HOPE (Hurricane Katrina response), the Mortgage HOPE Crisis Hotline, and most recently our Gallup-Operation HOPE Financial Literacy Index.

Because of CoreLogic's support (resources, volunteers for our Banking on Our Future program, and their thought leadership) Operation HOPE has literally been able to assist hundreds of thousands of individuals, as they worked themselves through Hurricane Katrina, and separately, the subprime mortgage crisis.  CoreLogic provided us with the backroom "call center" we needed to center our efforts to help others nationwide, as well as with critical operating capital to make it all "go."  Never once, in all of these years, have they asked for credit. Never…once.

Thank you CoreLogic and the CoreLogic Foundation family.  I and we appreciate you, genuinely.

A special thank you to my friends Karen Collins, head of the foundation, and Anand Nallathambi, who leads the entire company, for their support.  Anand,  whom I also welcome to our national board of directors, was the man who actually "green lit" our project to help survivors of Hurricane Katrina.  On behalf of the 100,000 plus we helped to provide the respect and dignity to move forward with their lives, thank you my friend.
