I am not sure if this is sad or inspiring or funny, of all three, but this morning I boarded a Delta flight to New York, having now idea that my personal hero and HOPE Global Spokesman, Ambassador Andrew Young, was sitting two seats from me. What’s funnier, we were driven by the same guy, our friend Webster Pringle, an hour apart, and spoke yesterday — but not about what we were doing today. Even funnier still, when he asked me where was I going, I could not remember the city — and we were ON the plane.
You cannot make this stuff up. Life is so funny. The memories, are precious.
