Not only was I honored to speak recently on behalf of my friend Dr. Julianne Malveaux, president of Bennett College for Women in Greensboro, North Carolina, but I was equally excited to hear of Dr. Malveaux's publishing of her newest, and I believe one of her best books — SURVIVING AND THRIVING: 365 Facts in Black Economic History, with a Forward by Cathy Hughes.  I was even more touched, to learn that the work of Operation HOPE is featured within its pages.

Every American, and certainly at the very least every African-American, needs to have a copy of SURVIVING AND THRIVING as part of their library.  Support good efforts likes this designed to move a people forward, by purchasing a copy of this important book today.

As for my contribution, I plan on publishing a number of her Black Economic History Facts weekly.

One person can make a difference.  You can be that one person.

Onward with HOPE
