As of January 20th, 2009, at 12:01am, I am honored and truly excited to say that "I now serve at the pleasure of the Honorable Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States," in my role as vice chairman of the U.S. President's Advisory Council on Financial Literacy, and chairman of the Council Committee on the Under-Served.
Given the state our national and global economic crisis, we have much work to do, and frankly, it is time to get down to it. The good news is that President Obama seems wholly committed to "doing the work, with a sense of NOW."
Every American needs to now rally around our new President, becoming the president of action for their community, their street, their family, their home and their own life. One person can change the world. Be that one person.
Onward with HOPE,
John Hope Bryant
