"In the 20th century leaders led by fear; using power acquired or maintained through control and coercion. Thanks to the Internet generation, soon it will become next to impossible to unreasonably control information, or others completely, nor to use the lack of information to hold individuals as de-facto intellectual hostages to change and progress.

In the 21st century leaders will have to learn to lead others by love; or put simply, power gained through true influence, as well as one’s ability to inspire forth a future vision for both themselves and those around them.  Passion will also be key.

Superpowers are either loved and respected — or they are feared."
