A quote by the late Charles T. Williams of New York, as shared with me by way of a story and associated quote from my amazing mother-in-law Mrs. Janie Sykes Kennedy, who was in turn a dear friend of the late Mr. Williams, who was in turn a mentor to my sweetie. A great man, that Mr. Williams, one of the first two African-Americans in corporate America in the 20th century.
