Clinton_trooper_1Former President Bill Clinton is one lucky man, to have our own Trooper Sanders to recently become his new domestic policy advisor.

Trooper Sanders, in addition to serving as the domestic policy advisor to then Vice President Al Gore in the White House, is a permanent member of the Operation HOPE family.

Trooper left the White House and soon came to work with Operation HOPE on a number or critical "leadership initiatives" emanating from the Office of the Chairman at Operation HOPE; projects including building core community and government support and thereafter opening of the Banking on Our Future, Chicago Education Office. Trooper’s most significant contribution, in addition to serving as an informal advisor to me on a range of issues, was becoming our first national director for HOPE Coalition America, now the partner with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, FEMA and Citizen Corps around emergency economic triage and economic response following national, Presidentially declared disasters, and emergency financial literacy preparedness by way of our EFFAK (Emergency Financial First Aid Kit).

In addition to being a dear friend, and someone I still trust greatly for steady, level headed counsel, Trooper is literally brilliant (thanks Jena Roscoe for introducing us…). Trooper will prove to be an invaluable asset to former President Clinton’s leadership team, and a perfect bridge for our working partnership with the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation around financial literacy education and empowerment in Harlem, New York. We have only just begun…

Bravo Trooper, friend. Bravo… We’re proud of you. Very.

Onward, with HOPE
