This morning, Kevin O’Leary and I appeared on CNBC’s Squawk Box to discuss the midterm elections’ impact on small businesses.
The economy is one of the biggest issues on voters’ minds this election cycle and for good reason. Households across America are feeling the effects of inflation on their wallets and purses and are desperate for relief. However, we must remember that there is no manual on a once-in-a-generation pandemic and how to put an entire nation back on its feet in a few short years. I’m all for common sense policy that will help set our nation back on course economically. I am not, however, in favor of sacrificing the soul of the nation and setting back the clock by 70 years, and undoing the progress we’ve made as a country to achieve it.
