John Hope Bryant goes LIVE while traveling through Detroit in support of Detroit Uplift 2020, an initiative to revive Detroit’s economy through Silver Rights empowerment. In this video, he encourages us to think for ourselves, because the world is full of “radical indifference” towards hatred and racism. Yes — racism still exists; however, anger is not a strategy. John Hope Bryant encourages us to focus on creating our own success, and to change our self-perception.

“Racism is sort of like rain, it’s either falling in one place, or it’s gathering. So you might as well get out an umbrella, in the color you like, and start strolling through it because it’s not going to change — so you must.”
