Following 9/11, I created an organization which would later become known nationwide as HOPE Coalition America (HCA).  HCA is America’s first ever emergency financial disaster preparedness, response and recovery agency — or the ‘economic Red Cross for the nation.’

HCA has responded to countless national, Presidentially declared emergencies, and helped more than 250,000 survivors of Hurricane Katrina alone.

This Wednesday morning at the HOPE Inside @SunTrust Bank in Washington, DC, we will come together with DHS/FEMA to sign a national renewal of our Memorandum of Agreement.
