Today I had the pleasure of being the commencement speaker before the 2015 graduating class of Herzing University, and seeing these students achieve this level of accomplishment and to go off into the future of their lives was inspirational as ever.

I had a chance to spend some quality time both with Theo Anderson, Campus President, and Renee Herzing, President of Herzing University globally.  Both, good people, committed to fulfilling their human potential of others.

I rallied the students to re-imagine their futures, and to understand that they are living in a moment in history — right now.  I told them that civil rights was waged and won in the streets, and silver rights would be waged and won in the suites.  And that these graduates — were new silver rights empowerment 'suite-makers.'  I challenged them to figure out 'what kind of bird they wanted to be.'    I gave them choices —- asked them 'what kind of bird did they want to be?'  I gave them three choices — Eagles, Buzzards and Turkeys.  They smartly, and boldly, chose Eagles!

After the graduation ceremonies, I gladly signed copies of my recent bestselling book, "How The Poor Can Save Capitalism: Rebuilding the Path to the Middle Class," for each and every graduate.

It's time for a new movement.  And these and other graduates, moving out into the world today, are those new movement leaders.

Let's go…
