Building on the HOPE Global Forum in January of 2015, where Detroit Mayor Michael Duggan came and shared his vision for a revitalized and renewed Detroit, next week I will be in Detroit, Michigan with my friend the mayor, his Administration, partners in Detroit and friends — as we announce and rollout the first HOPE Inside location in the city of Detroit.   We thank Fifth-Third Bank for supporting the Mayor and Operation HOPE in this first venture in the city.

More more to come.  This represents only our beginning, in the great, soon to be reborn and revitalized city of Detroit.

A special thank you and honorable mention to my friend Sandy K. Baruah, CEO of the Detroit Chamber of Commerce, who has helped to open important doors, along with Shirley Stancato and New Detroit, which housed our efforts in our early years in the City.

We are ready to roll.  The silver rights movement is real.  Watch for the increasing actively on the ground for both HOPE Inside Detroit, as well as the Detroit 2020 and Project 5117 movement. Stand by…

Onward, with HOPE
