Commercial Appeal: First Tennessee partners with nonprofit to boost financial literacy in Memphis
First Tennessee Bank on Monday announced that it is partnering with a California-based nonprofit organization to provide money management, credit-building and other services at the banks Crosstown financial center, 1338 Union.
First Tennessee and Operation HOPE, founded in Los Angeles in 1992 following the Rodney King riots, are teaming up to provide free workshops.
SunTrust Bank partnered with Operation hope in 2013 to offer free financial counseling in Memphis. The California organization has partnerships in more than 300 cities.
