2014 In Review Day 01 – Operation HOPE is Proud to Announce the Walter W. Jackson Fund, Library and Fellowship
Atlanta, June, 19, 2014 - Operation HOPE, the leading nonprofit in financial literacy is proud to announce in memoriam of HOPE Inside Ebenezer’s Vice President, Walter W. Jackson, II, Wells Fargo has established the Walter W. Jackson Memorial Fund. The fund was established for his three children Christopher, Joshua and Kyndall.
HOPE Inside Ebenezer affectionately called, “The living room of the community,” is creating the Walter W. JacksonFinancial Dignity Memorial Library and a Fellowship in his name. The library will consist of books about entrepreneurship, credit management, homeownership next to great authors as Martin Luther King, Jr., Silver Rights, Civil Rights and community activism.
The Casey Foundation, a partner with Operation HOPE has agreed to be the sponsor of the Walter Jackson Fellow at HOPE Inside Ebenezer. The fellow will be actively engaged with the community, look for opportunities for sponsorship and partnership, help with all the programs of the Project 5117 Initiative and will assist with event planning.
