SweetbunsPresident Barack Obama signs Proclamation, recognizing the importance of entrepreneurs to the country’s economy 

Since 1992, Operation HOPE has believed that entrepreneurs are integral to job creation, which is crucial to the American economy, as such it has created small business programs for budding entrepreneurs and aspiring students to help them grow their budding ideas. During this month, HOPE will highlight the people that help drive the economy and turn underserved communities into emerging markets.

This month in honor of President Obama’s proclamation honoring entrepreneurs, for the month of November for National Entrepreneurship Month and November 18th for National Entrepreneurship Day, join Operation HOPE as we highlight the many individuals who have participated in HOPE programs focused on helping Americans determine their own futures through small business. This week, HOPE highlights, Anthony McFarland, business owner and entrepreneur in the Washington, DC area. Honey Bun Cake started in April 2012, and now employs 4 people to help cook the delicious desserts.
