I heard John Hope Bryant speak at the Kansas City Library and I was impressed. He really nails the problems of lack of self-esteem, lack of role models, lack of financial education and the lack of hope of those in poverty. It is world wide problem not just a black American issue. The problem I have with the book are some of his solutions. Tax incentives and more government does not seem to work. He does have a plan for more financial and economic education and this does make since.
