Hello All and Ciao Tutti,
My name is Natasha Eldridge and you will find my name on some of the posts on johnhopebryant.com. I will focus on his philanthropy efforts and Operation HOPE.
I started with Operation HOPE right after the 2012 HOPE Global Forum. I was inspired by HOPE's mission and knew I wanted to be part of the organization. HOPE Inside Ebenezer was my first stop and I volunteered there and taught courses on Social Media, Microsoft and basic computer use. It was great helping a grandmother connect with her grandchildren on Facebook, reviewing a business plan for an up-and-coming entrepreneur and helping a man from a transition home reformat his resume for a job.
In April 2013 I was promoted to work for Office of the Chairman, John Hope Bryant, in the Public Relations and Communications division. This involved everything from media relations, event planning, drafting blog and press releases to covering events via social media or creating a video for Project 5117. I can definitely say every day is a new adventure with a new deadline.
In my new role as s a Senior Fellow, one of my new duties include co-managing Mr. Bryant's Blog.
I look forward to this opportunity and addressing the issue of poverty, entrepreneurship and the unbanked.
