The largest African American publication in Los Angeles, The Wave, has named Lance William Triggs an Extraordinary Leader and one of the Most Influential African Americans in the city for 2013, in a special edition of LA Wave Magazine.
Triggs, who serves as Operation HOPE’s Division President for HOPE Financial Dignity Centers and Chief Executive Officer of the Los Angeles Market, was honored for his service to the community during the organization’s commemorative VIP ceremony, held at the California African American Museum last October.
Among the special honorees were Los Angeles City Council President Herb Wesson, Jr. recipient of the Mervyn Dymally Award; and County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, who received the Vanguard Award.
