At the HOPE Global Financial Dignity Summit, on November 14th, 2013, we outlined a forward looking vision for the organization, our country, and our world. More so, after 22 years we re-branded the organization.
Operation HOPE (HOPE) was founded on May 5th, 1992, as America's first non-profit social investment banking organization. As of November 14h, 2013, HOPE became the first non-profit software company — expert in "the software of human development." Our mission remains the same — leading a silver rights movement which seeks to eradicate poverty as we know it in our lifetime.
In two short months since 'start-up,' I am pleased to report some early success and continued and growing momentum. This includes:
- 28 HOPE Inside and HOPE Inside Plus location commitments since November 14th, 2013. 17 of these locations are up and fully operational.
- 24 HOPE Business In A Box Academies commitments (HOPE Inside for Kids) since November 14th, 2013, the majority of which are already operational.
