Given the nature of my and our crazy life, we decided (that actually means that Natasha decided — smile) to keep our Atlanta wedding ceremony small, family oriented and intimate.
We were wed at First Congregational Church, in a ceremony led by civil rights icon and reverend, Ambassador Andrew Young. Assisting in the ceremony were Reverend Dr. Dwight Andrews, pastor of First Congregational Church, and Reverend Dr. Raphael Warnock, pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church (Rev. Warnock blessed the home and Bryant Park, where the wedding reception was held).
Our wedding party included Alexandra Foreman, Mara 'Montie' Hoskin, Princess Chere Peoples, Abigail Young, Kegdrick Smith, Jr., Kyler Smith, Rod McGrew, Dave 'Donny' Harris, Lance Triggs, Donnie Arnoult, Andrew Young III, Cosmo Griffiths, Kevin 'Hollywood' Holsome and Howard Hewett.
Some of the family and close friends present included Michael and Nelly Arougheti, James Bailey, Wendell Brown and Scarlett Pressley Brown, Jim Clifton, Doris Crenshaw, Dr. Bernice A. King, Teresa Cummings, Rachael and Garrett Doff, Staci and Anthony Dent, Tim Chrisman, Tommy and Carole Dortch, Mary and Bradley Ehrsam, Ms. Gwen Foreman and Ms. Juanita Smith, Bill Allen, Debborah Foreman. Ben Jealous, Milton and Traci Little, Tim and Mary Mapes, Ceasar and Tiffany Mitchell, Kwanza and Natalie Hall, Bill and Ashley Rogers, Jena Roscoe, Landon Taylor and Rev. Mark Whitlock, Andrea Young and Jerry Thomas, Jim and Jane Wells, Mrs. Carolyn Young, Susan Taylor and Khephra Burns, and Charles Dutton.
It was a time to remember, and for those not with us on this particular day, the pictures tell their own story.
