LOS ANGELES – September 19, 2013 – Following the worst flood for Colorado in the last 26 years, HOPE Coalition America (HCA), Operation HOPE’s emergency preparedness and financial recovery division, announced today that they will offer assistance and free financial recovery services to those affected through their 24-hour hotline 888-388-HOPE (4673).

HCA Director Jason Yancey is set to deploy to the affected areas this weekend to assess damages, meet with our national disaster recovery partners FEMA and the American Red Cross to best determine implementation for bringing awareness to HOPE services. Once on the ground, Yancey will also provide immediate face-to-face HCA services for the survivors.

State officials report that the record amounts of rainfall generated flash floods, and left at least six dead. The damages to Colorado roads, bridges and lines of communication are estimated in the range of $50 million and $150 million.
