Tracy Baumgartner serves as the Executive Director of Community Investment for Comcast Corporation and Senior Vice President of the Comcast Foundation. In this role, she oversees the daily execution of Comcast’s philanthropic strategies, helping others to dream big by annually delivering nearly $400 million in cash and in-kind services to schools and students, communities and non-profits, and to our national partners.
A lifelong cable veteran with 20 years of experience, Tracy spent nearly ten years as Vice President of Public Relations for the West Division of Comcast Cable in Denver. In this position, she was responsible for overseeing media relations, employee communications and community outreach efforts for the West Division’s 11 states. She joined Comcast following the acquisition of AT&T Broadband, where she served as Director of External Communications. A national spokesperson for AT&T Broadband, she was responsible for directing media relations efforts with national, business, trade, local and consumer press. She also developed strategic communication plans for all lines of the company’s video business, as well as supporting the company’s customer care, financial, labor relations, legal, marketing and technology efforts.
Tracy was the manager of Marketing Public Relations for MediaOne prior to its merger with AT&T and has also held various other public relations management positions for Jones Intercable, Jones Digital Century and Mind Extension University (ME/U): The Education Network.
