We are honored to have Ms. heather Landy with us as a participant in our HOPE Global Financial Dignity Summit, 2012.  We are also honored to have the American Banker as an In-Kind Media Partner for the summit.

Heather Landy is the editor in chief of American Banker Magazine, the monthly companion to the American Banker daily newspaper and digital news site. She is responsible for all of the magazine’s content, including American Banker’s annual list of the Most Powerful Women in Banking & Finance and the American Banker-Reputation Institute annual survey of Bank Reputations. She previously wrote about the nation’s largest banks for the American Banker newspaper.

Prior to joining American Banker, Heather worked as a special correspondent to The Washington Post, covering Wall Street at the height of the financial crisis. Before that she was a business reporter at The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, where in 2007 she won the Gerald Loeb Award for Beat Writing. She began her career at Bloomberg News, where she spent six years covering a range of businesses, including corporate finance and the retail and industrial sectors. She lives in New York with her husband and daughter.
