Los Angeles, CA – October 18, 2012 – Operation HOPE today recognized the Comcast Foundation as a Diamond Sponsor and the latest partner in the growing list of the HOPE Global Financial Dignity Summit supporters. In an effort to boost digital access and literacy, Comcast has committed $100,000 in cash and in-kind donations to the global financial dignity nonprofit; earmarking funds for the new HOPE Financial Dignity Center Cyber Café located in the Martin Luther King, Sr. Resource Facility at Ebenezer in Atlanta and the HOPE Summit,in Atlanta and the summit, November 14-15, 2012.

Comcast support includes the naming rights to the facility as well as providing the center’s technical infrastructure.  

Since 1999, the Comcast Foundation has had a positive impact on lives in nearly 2,000 communities through approximately 3,000 organizations, in support of expanding digital literacy, promoting community service and building tomorrow’s leaders.
