Global Dignity Day 2011 event was organized for the first time in Finland on 19th October, 2011.

The event included speeches of HRH Crown Prince of Norway Haakon, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, The founder, chairman and CEO of Operation HOPE, John Hope Bryant, President and Nobel laureate Martti Ahtisaari and host, founding member of Global Dignity, philosopher Pekka Himanen.  The co-founders of Global Dignity are also Young Global Leaders for the World Economic Forum.
