This is the latest update on the construction going on at the Martin Luther King, Sr
Community Resource Complex, featuring the HOPE Financial Dignity Center at Ebenezer. The Complex and the HOPE Center are housed within the larger King Center property, and will serve as a gateway for the HOPE 700 Credit Score Communities Initiative, and serve as the new moral center of our work globally.
For HOPE, our anchor for creative capital is Los Angeles, political and public policy capital is Washington, D.C., financial capital is New York City, and the new center for moral capital for our work is Atlanta, Georgia, my new hometown city (I am originally from Los Angeles, and Operation HOPE still has its global headquarters there as well).
The HOPE Center at Ebenezer is made possible thanks to support and a $5 million commitment from the FINANCIAL SERVICES ROUNDTABLE, and its members including SunTrust Bank, State Farm Insurance, LPL Financial, Wells Fargo and MasterCard. Other key partners and supporters include Kaplan University, the U.S. Economic Development Administration, the Coca-Cola Company, the United Way of Greater Atlanta and Equifax amongst others.
The best is yet to come. Stay tuned.
