What a special day this was for me, speaking before more than 600 students at H.D. Woodson High School, and standing alongside almost 100 HOPE Corps volunteers from a number of our amazing HOPE Partners.  All focused on transforming lives, and making our community better.

So many special memories from this day, but one thing I remember in particular was the image of three young African-American girls who approached me at the conclusion of the program, and who apologized for talking and being disruptive while I spoke.  Wow…..  Just think about that.  Simply transformational.
